Denkoku no Mori is a combination of "Yonezawa City Uesugi Museum" and "Okitama Culture Hall", and each facility attached to it is in the same building. First of all, the highlight of tourists is the Uesugi Museum in Yonezawa, where the history and culture of the Uesugi family are exhibited. There are many materials related to Yonezawa and Uesugi on display, but the must-see is the "Uesugi Rakuchu Rakugai Zoufu" presented to Kenshin Uesugi by Nobunaga Oda. This folding screen, which depicts the state of Kyoto at that time, is also a national treasure and is an exhibit that cannot be overlooked.
