Climate overview
Iceland's climate is so high that the land is located just south of the Arctic Circle. Due to the influence of warm currents and volcanoes, the temperature is not as low as the latitude, and it is a relatively comfortable climate during the summer months from June to August. Summer is a midnight sun, and the day when the sun does not set continues throughout the day. From November to March in winter, cold is severe, but there is no extreme low due to the influence of warm currents and volcanoes. Contrary to summer, the daytime is extremely short.
