| The art museum building in the Minato Mirai area truly is Yokohama Museum
of Art. Yokohama Museum of Art was opened as a pavilion of the Yokohama
exposition in 1989. It opened as Yokohama Museum of Art after completing the Yokohama exposition. In Yokohama Museum of Art, the work of domestic and an overseas is synthetically exhibited centering on the work of art in the 20th century. Moreover, a characteristic building is based on a builder and Mr. Kenzo Tange's leading [ Japanese ] design, and it is a very beautiful building, without not being so good in other buildings even now.
